Thermal - Thermoelectric, Peltier Modules

Thermoelectric modules (TEMs), also known as Peltier modules, can be used as a cooling&heating or power generation device. They are composed of thermoelectric materials, usually bismuth Telluride or antimony. When electrically connected, they can move heat from one side to the other, depending on the current direction.

Principle of Operation of Thermal - Thermoelectric, Peltier Modules

Thermoelectricity, or the "Peltier effect" as it is more commonly known, is based on the concept of heat pumping.
