Thermal - Thermoelectric, Peltier Modules – also known as thermoelectric coolers (TEC) – are devices that use the application of Peltier Effect to transfer heat from one side to another. The Peltier Effect, discovered in the 1820s by French physicist Jean Peltier, is a phenomenon in which electric current is used to transfer the heat from one side of a junction to the other. Thermal-Thermoelectric, Peltier Modules use Peltier Effect to transfer heat from one side of their surface to the surface on the opposite side, which is why they are sometimes called “heat pumps”.

The 430040-508 Peltier Module, manufactured by TE Technology, is a thermoelectric module with remarkable capabilities, specially designed for cooling large volumes of air and liquids.
