The 430040-512 Thermal - Thermoelectric (TE), Peltier modules are use for the cooling and heating process. The 430040-512 uses the Peltier effect to move heat between two separate objects. The Peltier Effect is a vibration of heat that occurs when an electrical current is passed through materials such as semiconductors. When the current is applied to the thermoelectric materials, a hot side and a cold side generate, which will form a temperature difference.The operation of the 430040-512 is based on the Peltier effect. Peltier effect is the transfer of heat that occurs when an electrical current is passed through a thermoelectric material. It can be clearly seen by connecting one end of the thermoelectric material to a heat source and the other end to a cold sink. As the current is applied to the thermoelectric material, it will transfer heat from one end (hot side) to the other end (cold side). By this mechanism, it can be used as a cooling device or a heating device.When the 430040-512 is connected to a power source, the current will flow through the thermoelectric material, resulting in a build-up of heat in one end (hot side) and the other end cooling (cold side).
