Thermal - Thermoelectric, Peltier Modules are the devices that employ the phenomenon known as the Peltier effect, in which electrical current flowing through a junction of two different conductors will cause a temperature difference. These modules are used to generate and transfer thermal energy in a variety of applications such as cooling small electronics, cooling power electronics, high power device cooling, and more.

The 430828-501 is a higher power thermoelectric Peltier module, using approximately 50 watts at 12 volts to provide a cooling capacity of around 150 watts. It is based on the principle of thermoelectric cooling, where current passes through junction of two different electrical conductors, cooling one side while the other side is warmed up.
