Working Principle

The 5102H3-12V is composed of two parts; an LED light that is connected to a 12V DC power source, and a terminal block that is connected to a signal line. This red light indicates that the signal line is connected and there is power being transported through the terminal block. When the signal line is disconnected, the LED light will switch off and the pilot light will no longer be visible.

The strength of the LED light can be adjusted by adjusting the intensity of the power supplied to the LED. This is done by connecting the variable resistor attached to the terminal block to the LED. Adjusting the variable resistor will increase or decrease the amount of power that is supplied to the LED and adjust the intensity of the light emitted from the pilot light.
