In addition, the connector is capable of high levels of reliability, with a minimum life-time rating of up to 500,000 insertions and a minimum mean time between failure (MTBF) over 1 million hours.The 51939-252 Connector contains two (2) rectangular types of plugs and sockets; a male and a female type. It also contains several components, including a locking/unlocking lock-bar, a two-position lock-bar, and a mating plug. The locking/unlocking lock-bar is designed to secure the connection between the two (2) connectors and the two-position lock-bar is designed to align the pins with each other when the two (2) connectors are connected. The mating plug is designed to ensure the two (2) connectors have proper contact between pins during their mated connection.The 51939-252 Connector is designed for power, data, and signal transfer in various applications that require high levels of reliability and data integrity.
