The output frequency of the oscillator is then determined by the on-board quartz crystal.

The 530JB125M000DGR also has a built-in phase-locked loop (PLL) to help achieve a low phase noise output. The PLL uses a low noise voltage amplifier to amplify the input voltage signal which will be used as an input to the PLL.
