Finally, presses work to hold two objects in place and create a permanent bond by using pressure. This pressure is generated by the press machine itself, lifting and pushing the two objects together. This force compresses both objects, creating an intense, direct force that connects the objects together and makes them inseparable. Crimping, applicators, and presses are all distinct and different processes used for joining materials. While each process is designed to accomplish the same goal, the means of doing so vary greatly. Crimpers use mechanical force, applicators use glues or other materials, while presses use direct pressure to join two objects. No matter the method used, each process creates a strong bond between the two objects that make them inseparable.
