581-01-60-002 is a straight, economy header from Rectangular Connectors - Headers, Male Pins range. It has a plastic body with phosphor bronze contacts. The contacts are rated up to a current of 3A and an operating temperature of up to 100°C.
This type of connector is used in industrial, consumer and automotive applications. This header is perfect for applications which require reliable electrical connections in tight spaces such as those in mobile devices and embedded circuitry. It is also well suited for drawer and rack systems.
The contacts of the 581-01-60-002 connector are positively engaged in grooves of an insulator block and are held in place by means of a wedging action of the contact cap to the contact’s base.
