RFIs and EMI stands for Radio Frequency Interference and Electromagnetic Interference respectively, and they are usually associated with mitigating said interference from electronic components. A 6-30T-BD-24 is a type of contact specifically used for these purposes in the form of a low voltage low current system. Contacts such as the 6-30T-BD-24 are mainly associated with contacts, fingerstock and gaskets, which discuss the system that works together to maintain a low noise electrical environment.

Contacts are used in many electronic circuits in order to maintain the continuity of the current. In low voltage low current systems, the 6-30T-BD-24 contact is used due to its ability to maintain a consistent contact force over surfaces with small curvatures, such as flat or curved printed circuit boards. It is also able to make contact with textured surfaces like plated through holes on a PCB and enable the flow of current. The 6-30T-BD-24 contact is also coated with precious metals, which adds additional conductive properties to it and increases the system’s EMI performance.

Fingerstock is another essential component in the low voltage low current system, and its purpose is twofold. It is used to support and keep the contacts in the path of the current, as well as acting as a shield to contain the RFI or EMI from escaping the system. Finger stocks are usually made out of conductive materials, such as metals, as this allows it to serve its purpose in regards to containing the electromagnetic interference. The 6-30T-BD-24 contact usually comes with its own fingerstock material, however, in more specialized systems, other types of fingerstock may be required to meet certain performance criteria. In any case, the fingerstock material should be chosen with care, as different materials have different characteristics and properties in terms of EMI performance.

Gaskets, on the other hand, are mainly used as a type of noise barrier between two components of the system. They are also beneficial in reducing the amount of current flow in the system and providing protection from dust and dirt entering the system. Gaskets can be made of either metallic or nonmetallic materials depending on the purpose, and they can be found both inside and outside of a system. In the case of the 6-30T-BD-24 contact, the gasket is usually made out of nonmetallic material such as foam or rubber. This is because nonmetallic gaskets don\'t conduct electricity, and therefore, they are used to block any RFI emanating from the system. Nonmetallic gaskets are also much easier to install and can be customized to fit any system.

The 6-30T-BD-24 contact, with its unique ability to make contact with both flat and textured surfaces, is used in many low voltage low current systems to provide a safe and effective electrical environment. With the help of fingerstock and gasket materials, the 6-30T-BD-24 contact is able to efficiently combat RFI and EMI complications associated with such systems.
