The 61083-081409LF interconnect system is a rectangular connector array, edge type, mezzanine (board to board) component. It is designed to provide high reliability power and signal connections for board-mounted electronic devices. It is rated for an operating temperature range of −55°C to 125°C and a contact current rating of 5A. The 61083-081409LF is also UL 94V0 rated for flammability. At the heart of the 61083-081409LF connector is a stamped and formed “pin press” contact design. This design enables the contact to take the form of a pin that protrudes beyond the plastic housing, thus allowing for a secure connection between the two mating components.
