It is a constant current LED Driver featuring a wide input voltage range (10V-30V), adjustable current and a rugged electrostatic protected and flame retardant casing. It is specifically developed for indoor lighting applications.The 7023-D-I-700 features a wide input voltage range (10V-30V) that makes it suitable for a variety of applications. The adjustable current control makes it NSG Class 2 and NSG Class 3 certified under EN61000-3-2 and EN61000-3-3 standards. The electrostatic protection and flame retardant casing mean that it can withstand high temperatures and is resistant to short-circuiting and over-voltage.The working principle of the 7023-D-I-700 is pretty simple. It has two input ports, one of which is connected to the AC power source and the other to the LED array. An AC to DC bridge rectifier converts the AC source into a DC voltage. The DC voltage is then passed through a switching IC which will regulate the current flow and deliver a constant current to the LED array. This current regulation provides a much more constant light output and reduces the risk of over-heating or damaging the LED array.
