The 7025L55PF8 is a dynamic random access memory (DRAM) device provided by NSD, a memory tool and chip maker. It is based on a 1Gb:8bit chip array architecture produced with a 55nm process technology and can support up to 6 DDR3 DRAM channels. The 7025L55PF8 performs well in applications requiring high bandwidth and power efficiency.
The 7025L55PF8 has an asymmetric 8 bit Output Data Bus. It can supply up to 8-bits of DDR3 DRAM data width when used with a symmetric bus containing 4-bits per cycle. This enables it to maintain the same 8-bit Output Data Bus for write and read operations. It also can work with multiple memory controllers, including ones from various memory vendors, as long as all parties involved support a compatible interface.
The 7025L55PF8 works by fetching data from the memory device and passing it to the processor or other requesting component. The chip consists of 8 bit Input Data Bus and 4 bit Input Data Bus. When data is sent to the device, the 4 bit Input Data Bus will send 4 bits of the data at a time, one after the other. The 8 bit Input Data Bus is used for sending 8 bits of data in one cycle. Once the data is received, the 7025L55PF8 will handle the data processing and translation of the data into an understandable format before sending it to the requesting component.
When data is ready to be sent out of the device, the 8 bit Output Data Bus is used. After the data is processed the 8 bit Output Data Bus will send 8 bits of the data at a time, one after the other, to the component requesting the data. This increases the efficiency at which data can be sent and received by the device.
