Common Mode Chokes is a type of filter component which plays an important role in the electromagnetic compatibility(EMC) of electronics systems where their operability should not be hindered by external electromagnetic interference or by radiation generated by own electronics. Those filters are used to attenuate common mode currents which are noise signals coupled to two conductors by electromagnetic fields. Common mode chokes are used extensively in power line, data line and other signal lines.
