Rotary switches are one of the most versatile switching components; they provide a significant number of performing axis and switch configurations. 71MBSF30-02B10N is the model of a rotary switch. This rotary switch is designed with a twin-axis rotary actuator in a form factor with low profile. The actuating button is very ergonomic, and is conveniently placed with two external cams to operate the switch.

Application Field and Working Principle

The 71MBSF30-02B10N is used in a variety of applications, such as home automation systems, environmental sensors, metering, etc. It is designed for low voltage (up to 630V), normal current, and low power application. This particular rotary switch is a flat type with a compact design.

The 71MBSF30-02B10N includes two independent switch decks and each deck has 10 contacts. The switch is actuated by turning the rotary actuator and the contact positions are indicated by the Cams. The contacts are configured to a common – N/C type. There are three switching positions, which in this particular version allow for double pole switching in low voltage applications.

The parameters for this switch are 2A, 630v AC/DC and ROHS Compliant. It has a good environmental resistance, at it’s designed with a gold contact material. The 71MBSF30-02B10N rotary switch can be used in both low and high temperatures, with a temperature range of -25~85℃. It is supplied with a mounting nut, washer, and retaining nut.

The switch comes with an insulator, self-clinching fasteners, and a separate ground connector. It is a single pole switch and the N/C and N/O type contacts are available.
