The 74AC280SCX parity generator and checker is a highly integrated device with robust features and in-system programmable capabilities. It is primarily used as a logic-level parity generator/checker. However, its features and programmability makes it suitable for various other applications such as error correction code (ECC) syndrome generator, BICMOS memory parity generator/checker, bus and line parity generation, serial-to-parallel converter with parity and so on.
