All of the flops are triggered simultaneously on the rising edges of the clock waveforms, provided the clock input and clear (CLR) inputs are active low (logic 0).The data inputs on each of the flop\'s data (D) pins are latched during positive clock transitions and remain stored until the next clock negative transition. The Q output pins provide the status of the data input at the positive transition of the clock waveform. Similarly, the clock input (CLK) and the clear (CLR) pins are used to either enable or disable the output functions of the flops. If a clear signal is applied on the clear (CLR) pin, the data stored in the flops is reset and the output is disabled.Conclusion
