74FCT162827ATPAG is a member of 74FCT family of high-performance, low-power, low-voltage, CMOS logic dual-input multiplexer/demultiplexer. It is designed to provide simple and fast logic control for select a single bit of data from one of many sources. Therefore, it is classified as a logic multi-input multiplexer/demultiplexer belonging to Logic - Buffers, Drivers, Receivers, Transceivers.

This chip offers significant performance relief compared to equivalent TTL circuits, with only a fraction of power and very low CMOS standby power dissipation.
