It is a low-power, low-voltage (1.2V to 3.6V), single-chip device that contains a transmitter, a receiver, and an integrated logic buffer in one package. The device has the capability of sending and receiving both digital and analog signals over a single differential data pair.

The 74LCXR162245MTX has two channels, each of which transmits and receives data concurrently.
