The 74LV04DB112 is a 4-input NAND gate with Schmitt Trigger Inputs, used in application fields including communications, computing, entertainment systems and in portable equipment.NAND gates are used in analog applications such as level sensors or in digital applications providing three basic functions; NOT, OR, and AND. A NAND gate is a logic gate which takes two or more inputs and produces one output. The output is \'low\' if at least one of the inputs is \'high\' and true if all the inputs are \'low\'.The 74LV04DB112 has two operating conditions; TTL level and CMOS level. TTL is the abbreviation for Transistor-to-Transistor Logic and is a form of digital logic where voltages representing true or false are used as signals. CMOS stands for Complementary MOSFET and is an active integrated circuit made up of complementary transistors.The 74LV04DB112 is designed to operate from a single 5volt supply and its power consumption is very low.
