Working Principle
The SN74LVT245 buffer is an advanced low-voltage, high-current, low-power buffer/driver integrated circuit. It comprises of 20 bidirectional buffer with three-state outputs. All buffer inputs are individually controlled by the input enable (Gyr) pins and the outputs are controlled by the output enable (Gyy) pins. The output drivers are designed to sink and source current at 16mA and are actively disengaged in the power off mode.
The SN74LVT245 is capable of driving multiple receivers on the same bus and includes an active high-impedance three-state outputs. All buffers have specified power-up and power down characteristics and allow for both high- and low-power applications and operation. The maximum voltage swing of each output is ±5V and the maximum error of VOH to VOHOUT is 2.5V. SN74LVT245 is capable of operating from a single 5V supply with a maximum standby current of 10mA.
