The 74VCX00MX series are logic gate and inverter ICs manufactured by Toshiba with high noise and electrostatic discharge immunity. These ICs are ideal for use in automotive electronic devices and other systems which are subjected to strong electrical noise. The series has low operating voltage, low static power consumption, and is available in a variety of package options depending on the number of inputs.

The 74VCX00MX series are divided into three types, the Quad 2-Input NAND Gate, Dual 4-Input NAND Gate and Dual 4-Input Inverter. The Quad 2-Input NAND Gate type provides four 2-input NAND logic gates. Each gate has a high noise margin of VIL=0.8V VIH=2.0V, making them suitable for use in systems with high electrical noise. The Static Power Consumption is 5 μW max.

The Dual 4-Input NAND Gate type has two 4-input NAND logic gates. Each gate has a high noise margin of VIL=0.8V and VIH = 2.0V, with a Static Power Consumption of 10 μW max.

The Dual 4-Input Inverter type has two 4-input inverters with a maximum input voltage of 6V. The output voltage is between 0.1V and 0.4V for a low-level output and between 2.0V and 3.8V for a high-level output. The VOH and VOL levels can be adjusted using a suppressor diode and an external resistor. The static power consumption is 5 μW max.

The 74VCX00MX series can be used in automotive electronic devices and other systems which are subjected to strong electrical noise. These ICs are suitable for use in data transceivers, interfacing systems and digital logic switching, and have a wide range of applications.
