Liquid crystal display (LCD) is a type of flat panel display commonly used in consumer electronics, such as computers, televisions, and mobile phones. LCDs use the same type of liquid crystal material as Polaroid sunglasses but have an additional liquid crystal layer that generated an image. The image is generated by electrical charges passing through the liquid crystal material, which causes it to rotate the polarized light passing through it.

OLED Character and Numeric Display Module

Organic Light Emitting Diode, or OLED, is another type of display module that is used extensively in consumer electronics. This module is less expensive than LCDs and provides better image quality due to its better pixel resolution. It uses two organic polymers that emit light when a current is applied to them. 782 Application Fields and Working Principle

The 782 display is a type of LCD display with seven segments, each segment having 8 pixels. This type of display is used for both static and dynamic data displays. It is used for things like time and temperature readings, as well as for displaying numeric information such as barcode scanners.

The 782 display works by using a row of seven segment elements and a row of columns or address lines. Each segment is rastered the same way a regular LCD would be, by turning off and on of one of the columns or address lines while the other lines stay powered on. This creates an image on the display. The 782 display is widely used in data displays and industrial process control.
