Working Principle
Constructed from hardened plastic and stainless steel, this connector range is designed to handle up to 10A of power and up to 8A when used with a cable. The plug is secured with a plug coupling system that consists of two housing pieces, two springs and two bayonets. Connecting two pieces of equipment requires the plug to be inserted into the socket. Tension is applied to the springs located in the plug housing. This tension holds the plug in place and provides a secure connection. The bayonets lock the spring loaded pins in place and provide a further secure connection between the socket and the plug.
