The 844002AGILF (AGILF) is a high-speed clock generator and frequency synthesizer that supports a wide range of system-level clock applications. It is designed to generate and control clocks with high accuracy and low jitter over wide operating temperature ranges. The 844002AGILF is capable of outputting up to four different clocking signals with frequencies ranging from 0.500 MHz to 1100 MHz. The AGILF employs a variety of built-in features such as a high-speed ASIC design, frequency selection, spread spectrum clocking (SSC), output clock skew, jitter reduction and skew synchronization. The low-jitter, high-frequency clock generator features a configurable internal frequency synthesizer with a fast-switching outputs. The versatile AGILF enables a wide range of system-level clock applications by supporting multiple clock output clocks through its modular architecture. The AGILF utilizes a spread spectrum clocking technology to reduce the amount of jitter at the output of the clock generator. This technology works by adding an adjustable frequency offset to the clock signal in order to spread the jitter into a wider frequency range. The advantage of this feature is that it simplifies the system’s time synchronization and reduces the complexity of the system. The AGILF’s clock generator operates on a low-power consumption basis, with integrated power efficiency circuitry to reduce the overall power consumption. Additionally, the AGILF supports multiple powering options with an onboard Li-ion battery or an external power supply. This feature allows for flexibility in design and system integration. The AGILF features an onboard hardware-based programmable logic controller (PLC) to easily configure and manage clock settings and parameters. The onboard PLC allows the user to customize the AGILF’s outputs and customize clocking parameters. The AGILF’s internal PLC provides comprehensive flexibility and control to the user, including the ability to control the frequency, phase, and duty cycle of output signals. The AGILF features an integrated frequency synthesizer to provide accurate and stable clock frequencies over a wide frequency range. The frequency synthesizer can be tuned for synthesizing a desired output frequency by controlling the output clock parameters such as phase, frequency and duty cycles. Frequency synchronization is also possible through the AGILF’s onboard PLC.The AGILF also features an adjustable output clock skew feature that allows for synchronous multiple output clocking with low jitter. The onboard PLC can be used to adjust the clock skew of the output control clocks. This allows for synchronous multiple-output clocking with low jitter and accuracy.
