The 8N3SV76LC-0046CDI (Clock Domain Integrity) is a new type of programmable timer and oscillator designed to ensure accurate timing performance in the most demanding high-speed digital systems. It is a purpose-built solution for the integrated synchronizing of high-speed digital systems where the need for a reliable, accurate clock and data must be addressed with minimal design effort and cost. In these systems, the need for a reliable clock domain integrity throughout the system is critical to make sure that the data is synchronized correctly. The 8N3SV76LC-0046CDI solves two problems for clock domains: the first is ensuring that the clocks in a system are synchronized. The phase modulated signals are designed to generate more robust phase synchronization while the frequency modulated signals provide smoother frequency transitions in multiple clock domains. Both modes of operation make use of sophisticated clock synthesis algorithms to reduce clock drift and provide a more accurate system timing.
