The 8T49N203A-007NLGI is a clock generator, phase-locked loop (PLL), and frequency synthesizer, designed for providing high resolution, low jitter clock and data signals in multiple applications.
The 8T49N203A-007NLGI is built on an advanced silicon-on-insulator (SOI) process and integrates an on-chip voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). Working Principle
The 8T49N203A-007NLGI is designed to provide low-jitter frequency signals at frequencies from 0.1MHz up to 2.5GHz with low-noise and low-jitter performance. This device works using a phase-locked loop (PLL) architecture to generate frequency signals from 0.1MHz to 2.5GHz from a reference clock inputs from 1MHz to 200MHz. The integrated PLL and frequency synthesizer provide flexibility in generating multiple frequencies from a single reference clock must meet low-jitter specifications such as DDR4 and PCIe™.
The device supports a wide selection of output configurations ranging from Multiple Outputs (MOS) to High Frequency Oscillator (HFO) to Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) outputs. The MOS outputs can generate single frequencies or multiple frequency signals with minimal jitter performance. The HFO outputs can generate higher frequencies up to 2.5GHz with low jitter performance.
The device can be configured with a variety of output formats, including LVDS and LVPECL, and can extend the accuracy of the system by providing high-sensitivity gain and phase adjustment options. The integrated PLL circuits also feature wide frequency range, low phase noise and low-jitter performance for more demanding applications. Additionally, the 8T49N203A-007NLGI provides the added flexibility of external control: the device can be programmed from 1MHz up to 200MHz with SPI and I²C interface.
The 8T49N203A-007NLGI is an ideal option for applications with stringent clocking requirements or where it is desired to control the output frequency with external control, such as industrial network systems, datacenters, and wireless communications.
