All of the DIN 41612 series of connectors are designed to conform to the IEC 60320-1 standard that provides guidelines for the performance and safety levels that this series of connectors must adhere to. Additionally, these connectors also offer protection from electromagnetic interference and environmental contaminants thanks to their resistor and dielectric insulation.The DIN 41612 series of connectors is available in two, three, and four row options, each offering signal options up to 10A and 1A current carrying capacities. The two-row connectors are also available in versions that are capable of carrying higher current ratings. These connectors also offer RoHS Compliant designs that support high-speed data transfer and signal integrity, allowing for optimal transmission of signals.The DIN 41612 series of connectors use daisy chain wiring and, depending on the row operated, are designed to support parallel circuits, allowing for more efficient connections of multiple signals. Connections are secured by way of two screws in each row, with additional securement provided by the positive clamp cage that holds the connector in place.
