It also has a high frequency rating, high saturation current, and a low operating temperature range.A fixed inductor works on the same principle as an electromagnet. An electric current flows through the wires of the inductor, creating a magnetic field. This magnetic field will cause the magnetizing current to increase as it is increased. The current flowing through the inductor, which is called the magnetizing current, is proportional to the inductive reactance.The 9210-64 model has an inductance of 4.7 µH, maximum current rating of 1A, and maximum DC resistance of 8.6 Ω at 25°C. The saturation current depends on the operating temperature, with a maximum of 1.1 A at 25°C and 0.7 A at 120°C. It also has a low self-resonant frequency of 5.5 MHz, and a temperature stability of ±0.003 µH/°C. The inductor has a high maximum frequency rating of 10 MHz, and a low temperature range of -40°C to 150°C.In applications, the 9210-64 model can be used for improving EMI performance and reducing power-supply noise.
