The A-DVI-1012-2-01-R connector is a digital visual interface (DVI) connector, which is a common connection method for transferring video signals from the source devices such as computers, home theater systems and gaming consoles to the displays such as televisions, projectors, and monitors. DVI is the current standard for HDTVs, LCDs, and other digital displays.

Application Field

Working Principle

The A-DVI-1012-2-01-R connector sends the video signal in uncompressed digital format by using three unidirectional data channels—one each for red, green, and blue, which are all connected to the a single flat ribbon cable. The cable also contains four differential pairs for carrying the clock signal for synchronization. The connector also contains pins arranged in two rows, which provide the necessary connections for powering small displays such as those found in laptop computers.

The A-DVI-1012-2-01-R connector is capable of transferring video signals up to a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 120 Hz refresh rate, ensuring an extremely high quality video. It is also capable of transferring audio signals up to 8 channels of 192 kHz 24 bit audio, which is the current state-of-the-art audio. The connector is Plug and Play, making installation and configuration of displays a breeze.
