Terminal blocks are one of the most important components in an electrical engineering system. The A-TB500-VI18V is a model of terminal blocks designed and manufactured by Amphenol. It is widely used in various industrial and commercial applications.
It is a two-piece terminal block with insulation resistance of 500MΩ and insulation voltage of 500VAC. The width is 18mm, the mounting hole diameter is 8mm and the clamping distance is 3mm. It also features a dielectric strength of 500VAC and an operating temperature range from -55℃ to +105℃. It has 6p/20A rated current with 22-14 AWG wire range but it can go up to 24AWG with 4p/15A rated current. Its contact material is stainless steel and it is a universal type with horizontal and vertical orientation. The A-TB500-VI18V is UL and TUV approved.

This terminal block also features a sliding foot, which helps prevent damage to the conductor during insertion. The sliding foot will move out when the conductor is forced to the contact point, allowing the conductor to slide in smoothly. When the conductor is fully inserted, the sliding foot will spring back, thus ensuring a secure connection. This feature provides maximum protection to the conductor against mechanical damage when connecting or disconnecting.
