Working Principle

A22E-L-02 pushbuttons work via two main components, a contact block and an actuator. The contact block comprises two contacts at each side of the switch. When the button is for “momentary” operation, depressing the button will cause the movable contact to make contact with the fixed contact, creating a closed loop. Thus, electricity flow will be enabled and the intended connection will be made. When the switch is to maintain “on/off” positions, the body of the switch acts as a spring which will return the contact to its original off position when the button is released. In this type of switch, the user must maintain pressure to keep the switch in either the on or off position.
