AA-25.000MANK-T Crystals Application and Working Principle
AA-25.000MANK-T crystals, also known as temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO), are made using a piezoelectric material– usually quartz; the quartz is cut into two plates that are mechanically in contact, electrically isolated, and connected together. This arrangement, referred to as a “piezoelectric coupling,” generates a thermal couple to sense temperature changes and a voltage over the plates causes the quartz to vibrate, thus producing a constant oscillation frequency. AA-25.000MANK-T crystals have been used for many years in various applications due to their unique properties.
