Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits provide designers with a low-cost, prototype boards for the evaluation, demonstration and application of electrical components. With the increasing complexity of electronic systems, it is important that designers have a reliable, safe and cost efficient means to evaluate and test newly developed components before they are used in a production environment. AC243005-1 is one such evaluation and demonstration board, which can be used to evaluate and test various components and devices.
The AC243005-1 is a mini-PCB with a PIC24F04KA300 microcontroller, two 8-bit shift register, and two 2.5V LED transistors. The board, measuring 5.3x4.3cm, has two rows of pin headers for connecting to and powering external devices. The board also has an external LED display and two LEDs which can be used for debugging or systems monitoring.
The PIC24F04KA300 microcontroller used on the AC243005-1 board is a low power, 16-bit, static microcontroller with a DMA controller, two 8-bit timers, an address latch register, an 8-bit shift register, and two 2.5V LED transistors. It is operated at a nominal voltage of 3.3V and can be clocked up to 16MHz. The AC243005-1 board utilizes the microcontroller\'s DMA controller to allow close communication between the external devices and the PIC. It also has integrated ethernet, UART, I2C, SPI, USB and CANbus.
