Common Mode Chokes

Common mode chokes are inductors, also known as common mode current filters, that are used to help reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and protect against other environmental electrical noise. Common mode chokes are especially useful for sensitive signal and power applications where EMI needs to be reduced. ACM-0603-450-T Application Field and Working Principle

The ACM-0603-450-T is a low profile, wide frequency range, common mode choke specifically designed for use in low voltage, low power sensitive applications. This electrical noise is then attenuated by the inductor’s frequency dependent characteristics.

Third, the third coil helps to suppress differential mode noise. It comprises current sensing windings coupled with the primary winding of the first coil.
