The AD-FMCMOTCON1-EBZ evaluation and demonstration board from Analog Devices is designed to allow customers to quickly evaluate the performance of their controller and digital motor drive circuits without having to build a complete motor control system from scratch. This evaluation board allows the user to easily assess the performance of a digital motor drive circuit while using a controller board, which allows them to quickly analyze the mechanical performance of the system.

The AD-FMCMOTCON1-EBZ includes everything needed for a complete system evaluation, as well as an evaluation platform that allows the user to rapidly prototype and develop their motor control system. The controller board features powerful FPGA and ARM Cortex-M processors, which are used to analyze, process, and control the motor performance parameters. The board supports a variety of digital and analog motor control interfaces, allowing customers to easily evaluate the performance of their system in different control topologies. The evaluation board is also equipped with on-board LEDs and switches that provide users with feedback on system operations.

The AD-FMCMOTCON1-EBZ evaluation and demonstration board also features a powerful analog motor control interface capable of driving brushless DC motors up to 4 amps in continuous current at a maximum voltage of 30 volts. This interface supports and switch control configurations, allowing users to easily configure the performance of their system without the need for complex PWM signals.
