It comprises of several components such as the analog/power ICAD-FMCMOTCON2, a dedicated 32-bit Microchip microcontroller, 3-phase half bridge drivers, I2C interface, Hi-Speed USB interface, and a 12-bit ADC. The board also includes multiple software libraries for different types of applications including FOC, open-loop, torque limit, and speed limit. It supports high-speed field-oriented control (FOC) algorithms for 3-phase brushless DC (BLDC) and permanent magnet synchronous (PMSM) motors.The board can be used to optimize system parameters, evaluate the motor\'s performance and tune these parameters to achieve optimal performance. With the use of dedicated software, engineers can select motor type, set tuning parameters, and task and run motor control algorithms.
