AD8023ARZ Application Field and Working Principle The AD8023ARZ is a low-power video amplifier that is suitable for pro-audio and video applications. The AD8023ARZ also features differential input common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 85 dB and a low distortion of 0.0025%. The open loop gain of the AD8023ARZ is over 1,000V/V.The AD8023ARZ video amplifier is versatile and can be used for both pro-audio and video. It can be integrated in systems that use either AC or DC signals, or both. The AD8023ARZ is ideal for applications that require high performance, good linearity and high bandwidth. It is also suitable for applications that require low-noise, low-power consumption, and a wide operating range.Among the applications that can be accomplished with the AD8023ARZ are video sources such as CCFT, CRT, and FED monitors, as well as video conferencing systems and video cameras. Additionally, it can be used to drive active filters, switch capacitors, active-splitter circuits, balanced-analog filters, equalizers and power-supply voltages regulators.In terms of its working principle, the AD8023ARZ video amplifier is powered by a DC supply. Its input stage is comprised of a differential and single-ended amplifier that can accept both AC and DC signals. The output from these amplifiers is then passed through a gain control stage that enables the user to adjust the gain of the amplifier. The output from the gain control stage is then passed through an AGC circuit that regulates the gain level of the amplifier.
