The AD809BRZ is a low jitter and highly programmable clock generator designed to meet the most demanding frequency synthesis requirements for networking, optical networking, and telecommunications systems. The device is ideal for applications that require low phase noise, high frequency switching with jitter frequency synthesis, and low jitter clocks with minimum interruption time. It has a comprehensive selection of output options, including LVDS, PECL, LVPECL, CMOS/LVDS, and fixed pulse outputs.

The AD809BRZ provides an integrated, reconfigurable filter that I/O jitter attenuation to the specified bit rate, and is compatible with a wide range of logic system timing parameters. It also features an integrated on-chip-oscillator that can be tuned or adjusted by an external resistor or capacitor. The AD809BRZ is also capable of running the MASH (Multi-Stage Noise Shaping) modulation algorithm, which allows for frequency synthesis with even lower jitter and higher noise suppression than the traditional PLL mode.
