This application note provides an introduction to the features and applications of the AD8333ACPZ-REEL.The AD8333ACPZ-REEL is a three-stage RF demodulator that combines quadrature demodulation, gain control, and filtering into a single integrated circuit. Designed for use in communication systems where the signal bandwidth is relatively narrow but the channel noise is high, it provides superior performance at a high-speed and noise relative to conventional analog demodulators. The device is suitable for use in data links with data rates up to 6 MHz, and has a signal-to-noise ratio up to 40 dB.The AD8333ACPZ-REEL consists of an input section, a gain control section, and an output section. The input section consists of a low-noise amplifier, limiter, and quadrature demodulator.
