As such, ADC evaluation boards can be a great tool for selecting an ADC, allowing testers to collect data that is relevant to their application, and explore different ADC performance features in a test-bench setup. Overview of the ADC084S101EVAL Board

The ADC084S101EVAL board is a low-cost, low-power, 8-bit analog to digital converter (ADC) evaluation board, targeted to thermostat and home energy management applications. Working Principle of ADC084S101EVAL Board

The ADC084S101EVAL board includes the ADS1256 ADC, which is an 8-bit delta-sigma ADC that has an integrated PGA, GPIO, and on-chip programmable oscillator and reference. The board works in conjunction with the ADC to measure, convert, and process analog input signals into digital output data. The on-board components provide a complete data conversion solution, from input stage to output stage.

The ADC084S101EVAL board is powered by a voltage range from 1.4 V to 5.5 V and uses the SPI interface to communicate with the ADC.
