The ADP150UJZ-REDYKIT is a linear voltage regulator, designed for applications such as low dropout USB power supplies, power MOSFET gate bias supplies, internal battery supplies and general purpose voltage regulation. It is a high performance, low-cost, flexible solution for a wide variety of applications.

The ADP150UJZ-REDYKIT is based on a standard hysteretic design with an adjustable output voltage range of 0.8 V to 5.5 V. It provides high-session efficiency up to 96%, low quiescent current of 8 mA, and fast transient response time as low as 12 µs. It also features low dropout voltage of 0.4 V at 500 mA load current, and low output voltage ripple of less than 2 mV peak-to-peak.

The ADP150UJZ-REDYKIT offers two operating modes: continuous voltage mode and pulse skipping mode. In continuous voltage mode, the output voltage will remain constant for a wide range of load current. In the pulse skipping mode, the output voltage will pulse once per load current peak, which provides improved efficiency and accuracy at light load currents.
