ADP1607-EVALZ is a high performance, advanced, broad range of evaluation boards designed for DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. It is an excellent solution for evaluation of the ADP1607AFZ parts suitable for both new and existing designs. The evaluation boards come in two configurations, a DC/DC SMPS configuration and an AC/DC SMPS configuration.
The DC/DC SMPS evaluation board (EVAL ADP1607AFZ-EVALZ) includes two evaluation boards, one for the buck converter and one for the boost converter. The buck converter evaluation board includes a circuit featuring the ADP1607AFZ DC/DC step-down converter and its associated components. This board is designed to provide adjustable output voltage, and features adjustable soft start, adjustable switching frequency, and adjustable peak current limit. The boost converter evaluation board features the ADP1607AFZ DC/DC step-up converter, a buck-boost topology, and its associated components. This board is designed to provide adjustable output voltage, and features adjustable frequency, adjustable soft start, and adjustable peak current limit.
The AC/DC SMPS evaluation board (EVAL ADP1607AFZ-EVALZ-1) includes an evaluation board featuring the ADP1607AFZ isolated AC/DC flyback converter and its associated components. This board is designed to provide adjustable output voltage, and features adjustable frequency, adjustable soft start, and adjustable peak current limit. Both the buck converter and the boost converter evaluation board have beneficial features such as an appropriate output voltage LED indicator and a trimmer potentiometer for output voltage adjustments.
