ADP1873-1.0-EVALZ is a evaluation board for DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. It developed by Analog Devices.It is an integrated precision offline current-mode switching regulator used for controlling step-down and step-up applications. It integrates an unregulated DC power supply (DC or AC) with a durable current mode power switching regulator.The board provides the user with the ability to evaluate the performance of the ADP1873-1.0 control IC for applications such as LED drivers.The ADP1873-1.0-EVALZ features an adjustable output voltage over a range from 3V to 15V, a controlled output current up to 1.5A and a supply voltage range from 7.5V to 28V inclusive. The board also includes an on-board auxiliary circuit to form a two-stage architecture.In addition, a power factor correction (PFC) loop is integrated with the switching regulator, so there is no additional circuitry required. This allows the user to evaluate both the switching regulator and the PFC loop in a single system.The board also includes a variety of configuration options such as soft-start, burst mode, cycle-skip and soft-start/soft-stop modes.
