ADR364AUJZ-R2 is a three-terminal, precision voltage reference IC that operates over a wide temperature range. The output voltage is designed to provide dependable and stable supply for low-power analog and digital circuitry. The reference IC features a wide enable input voltage range and minimal noise performance to meet the most demanding system requirements.The field of application of the IC includes providing precise and stable voltages for microcontroller and digital signal processors, providing precision voltage reference for voltage followers and high-side current monitoring, securing reliable power supply for low-power ADCs, DACs and memory chips, and protecting against overvoltage conditions due to noise on the supply line.The working principle of the ADR364AUJZ-R2 IC is based on a two stage operational amplifier and a current source, where the current source supplies a stable reference voltage. The first stage is made of an operational amplifier that is connected to the current source and buffers the voltage of the reference and prevents it from loading the current source. The second stage is a voltage amplifier that amplifies the buffered reference voltage and produces the output voltage.The IC can switch between two modes, normal mode and shutdown mode. In normal mode, the device provides a reference voltage that conforms to the voltage set by the user. The reference voltage accuracy is typically ±1mV and is governed by the external resistors, among other components.
