ADR5040ARTZ-REEL7 is an integrated non-volatile reference (NVR) voltage solution from Analog Devices, Inc. It is a member of the ADR5040 family of voltage references and offers a variety of features and benefits to enable higher performance and/or more efficient operation in both low-voltage linear or switching power supplies. The ADR5040ARTZ-REEL7 is a dual channel, NVR-based voltage reference solution with a 0.5V to 10V range, a 0.65V accuracy, a 5V current limitation, and a temperature coefficient of 0.04%. It also offers a wide temperature range of -40°C to 150°C, making it ideal for applications in extreme environmental conditions.This device is well suited to a wide range of power management applications, including power supplies, battery charging and monitoring, and µP supervisor circuits. The reference channels feature both open-loop and closed-loop operation, allowing for flexible design options and improved performance. The open-loop mode utilizes low-current measurement and buffered voltage outputs, while the closed-loop mode provides additional voltage accuracy and lower power consumption.The ADR5040ARTZ-REEL7 provides high-accuracy voltage references for linear and/or switched mode power converters. In linear mode, the device provides a stable output voltage for the load. In switched mode, the device has the ability to accurately adjust the output voltage as needed, thereby improving overall efficiency. This device also has a high-impedance output stage and a low-distortion design, which makes it highly suitable for high-precision measurements, such as op-amp integrators and A/D converters.The ADR5040ARTZ-REEL7 is strongly recommended for use in µP-based applications as a voltage reference, such as DC/DC or microcontroller power supply regulation.
