The ADS7805EVM is an evaluation board that demonstrates the capabilities of Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs). It is designed to facilitate the evaluation of the complete data conversion chain from sensor to digital and to provide a quick method of testing different hardware and software solutions for a variety of applications. This evaluation board is a cost-effective platform that provides users with a ready-to-use system that can be used to evaluate different data conversion processes with different data rates, resolutions, and speeds.The ADS7805EVM is a cost-effective platform for evaluating the performance of the ADS7805A ADC. The board is equipped with an array of components and connectors that support the evaluation of Analog-To-Digital Converters from small to high data rates. The ADS7805EVM features a TMS320C3201 processor, an array of ADC components, and connectors for power, data inputs, and outputs. The board supports an array of data converters, from 10-bit to 12-bit, with data rates ranging from 1kHz to 1000kHz. The on-board processor allows for a large number of data acquisition and control capabilities.The board also features a wide variety of analog and digital inputs and outputs to monitor results. The on-board debugger and ARM Cortex-A9 processor allow users to tune their programs and debug code for performance optimization. The small form factor and low power makes the ADS7805EVM a perfect platform for data acquisition and analysis applications that require minimum power consumption.The ADS7805A is a low-power, high-speed, multislope, 12-bit ADC with a power-on reset and power-down functions. The device offers up to 1 Msps throughput, converting 12-bit data at clock rates between 1 kHz and 1000 kHz. The device provides differential and single-ended inputs, and it provides a pin for serial data input. It also has an adjustable voltage reference and an internal clock. The device contains 10 channels for analog inputs.The ADS7805A is designed for single-ended or differential sampled data acquisitions systems in embedded control or data acquisition applications.
