The analog-to-digital multiplexer enables multiple analog image inputs to be multiplexed together into a single digital data stream. The digital video interface (DVI) serilize/deserialize section configures the serial digital data formatted according to the DVI standard. All the analog and digital signals are transmitted through a 3-bit/pixel, 3-channel LVDS data bus.

In addition, the device also features an ADIHAL integrated high speed image data processing engine. This engine can perform 4 to 8 color space conversions per pixel cycle. It also features an iCache engine that can efficiently store and read transformed image data for further analysis.
