AE-Q100-STM32 is a programming adapter designed for STMicroelectronics STM32 32-bit microcontrollers. It is based on the AE-Q100 hardware platform and has the features of high speed, compatibility with STM32 microcontroller types, and full-function debugging system. STM32 can usefully be programmed in AVR Studio, Keil MDK, and IAR Workbench. It allows full control of the development process, from the compilation of source code to the debugging and final download of the binary code into the program memory of the microcontroller device.

Application Field

AE-Q100-STM32 is mainly used for developing and debugging embedded applications for STM32 microcontroller devices. It is mainly targeted for industrial applications, such as motor control applications, automotive applications, home automation and medical applications. It can also be used in aerospace, consumer and automotive sectors.

Working Principle

AE-Q100-STM32 uses the STM32 10/100 Ethernet Access Point protocol (EAP) which is designed to provide a simplified, automatic way to connect systems to Ethernet networks. This protocol internally manages the selection of the network interface to be used when communicating, as well as the connection parameters to an Internet service.

The onboard STM32 ACE-Q100-STM32 adapter chip includes a debug interface, which is used to transmit development and debug data from the application, as well as programming information to the microcontroller device. The debug interface is connected to the host system with a standard USB cable, and provides an easy way to control the entire development process.

The AE-Q100-STM32 platform is able to communicate with the target device through either a dedicated CAN bus on the printed circuit board (PCB) or an interface with the application microcontroller through an SPI or USART connection. An onboard FT232 RS-232/485 Serial Communication Bridge allows the connection of additional devices such as remote inputs and actuators. In addition, the AE-Q100-STM32 platform provides a PiccoloOS based real-time operating system (RTOS) to manage the whole development process.

The specific data is subject to PDF, and the above content is for reference
