Working Principle

When this occurs, the most current that can pass through the fuse is limited, and the circuit is protected.

This trip-free technology also ensures that the fuse will not trip unless the current rises to a level that causes the element tube to completely melt. In addition, the fuse will automatically reset itself once the fault has been cleared.
